My background and approach

My approach is non-sectarian, in the spirit of Rimé. I am open to different Buddhist traditions, with respect for the distinct character of each.

I have received teachings in the Thai Forest tradition of Theravāda, Zen and Madhyamaka within Mahāyāna, and the Nyingma and Kagyu lineages of Vajrayāna. I have also received Dzogchen teachings.

I draw on these teachings to support each person according to their situation, practice and the questions that matter to them.

Alongside Buddhist practice, my background includes music, engineering, entrepreneurship and team management. These experiences help me understand the concrete circumstances in which a practice takes place.
